My name is Jade Spielman and I live in Ankeny, Iowa with my husband, Brad, and my two amazing, wild little boys, Caymen and Saxton. When I became a mom six years ago, it was one of the most joyous, exciting times of my life. But I quickly realized that joy was just one of the many emotions I would experience on the vacillating rollercoaster of feelings that parenthood is. I had never leaned on my support system so much, something I quickly realized I was lucky to have.
As a postpartum doula, I want to be part of your support system. I want to ensure that each of my clients feels respected, understood, valued, accepted, and most importantly — empowered — in his or her journey. I'm passionate about walking alongside mothers and/or families as they seek growth and balance in their new roles. My job is to make this transition an easier one. I'm also a therapist (in addition to being a mom and postpartum doula), so I'm uniquely qualified to provide support, guidance, and instruction —never judgement.
A little more about me: I love all outdoor activities. In my free time, you can find me on a bike ride, hiking the trails with my family, or on the water as weather allows! I have a newfound love for yoga, and I never turn down a good dessert.
